“Why are you fighting it?” She gave him a snippet of dry laughter. “Don’t you want to give me what I want?”

Zac’s eyes flew open and he met her dark blue eyes, a tremor of fear lacing the edge of his intense arousal. Suddenly, her gaze softened and she ground down. “Please.”

He struggled with the idea that he’d just watched the creature above him morph into something else once again as every molecule of his being tensed as though it had accepted a command. Her pussy fluttered around him and her face went slack, her eyes drifting closed. His orgasm caught him by surprise, regardless of how near he’d known it to be. Pleasure blasted across his senses and he arched off the floor, the intensity of it ripping a yell from his lips.

The world was bleached white and he stared into the vacant nothingness, his emotions rushing over him. Rosie. Colours, memories, and feelings he associated with her coursed over him and he blinked, suddenly aware his cheeks were wet with tears. He blinked again, and suddenly he was once more in darkness. He flexed his fingers into her hips, relieved she was still seated on top of him.

“Oh, Zac.” Her voice wobbled as she stretched herself across him, her supple flesh moulding to his muscles.

He wound his arms around her as she pressed her mouth against his jaw. Maybe this, everything that had happened, was his punishment for letting her go in the first place. He held her tighter, wishing he could somehow disappear into her body. Sorrow and the force of the love he’d carried for her all these years made his limbs heavy, and he fought to keep his eyes open. He didn’t want to fall asleep, but he knew he didn’t have choice.

He felt drained and exhaustion beckoned him to close his eyes. He didn’t know how long they lay there in complete silence, how long he held his breath so he could hear hers, but soon his eyes closed and he drifted into a sleep he hoped he would never wake from.
